Please read these terms carefully. By accessing KYCME.APP, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization.
Agreement with KYCME
These Terms form an agreement between you and KYCME, the operator of KYCME.APP (“we”, “us”). They apply to the website, customer accounts and document-text extraction service. By using the service you agree to these Terms. If acting for an organization, you confirm authority to bind it.
If you do not agree, do not use the service. A separate signed agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with these Terms for the services it covers. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
Current service and limits
KYCME.APP stores uploaded identity-document images, queues AI text extraction and displays results. Front images are required; back images are optional. Current supported uploads are PNG and JPEG, up to 5 MB per side. The service applies account, platform and processing limits; acceptance of an upload does not guarantee successful or immediate extraction.
We do not currently provide facial matching, liveness, fingerprint matching, sanctions screening or identity approval. Mobile apps and integrations under development are not promised as available features.
Documents expire on the date shown in the workspace. The default live retention is 30 days from upload; administrators may change the period for new uploads. Review and lawfully retain any needed result before expiry. Do not use this service as your only document archive.
Eligibility and authority
You must be an adult with legal capacity to agree to these Terms and authority to act for any business you represent. The current service is not intended for children; do not create a child’s account or upload a child’s identity document.
Permitted use and responsibilities
Use the service only for lawful document-text extraction. You must have authority to submit every document and provide its holder with any required privacy notice and obtain required permission before upload, including for external AI processing.
- Limit submissions and access to what is necessary for your lawful purpose.
- Comply with applicable privacy, identity-document, consumer, employment and anti-discrimination obligations.
- Check extracted information against the original and provide human review before relying on it.
- Do not use results alone to make legal, financial, employment, eligibility or compliance decisions.
Prohibited conduct
You must not, and must not help another person to:
- use KYCME.APP for an unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, abusive, or unauthorized purpose;
- submit information about another person without proper authority or impersonate any person or organization;
- circumvent consent, notice, access, geographic, account, rate, or security controls;
- probe, scan, test, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or related systems;
- introduce malware, automate abusive requests, scrape protected content, or interfere with another user;
- reverse engineer, decompile, copy, or derive source code, models, or non-public service logic except where law expressly permits and cannot be waived;
- misuse personal information contained in service output; or
- remove ownership notices or misrepresent an extraction result as a guarantee from KYCME.APP.
Accounts, credentials, and security
Where accounts or integration credentials are provided, you must keep them confidential, use reasonable security controls, and ensure each user has appropriate access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account except to the extent caused by KYCME.APP’s breach of an applicable agreement.
Notify us promptly if credentials are lost, disclosed, or used without authorization. We may require stronger authentication, rotate credentials, restrict risky integrations, or take other reasonable steps to protect the service.
Extraction results, not identity approval
AI may misread, omit or invent text, including names, dates and non-Latin characters. A Completed status means processing finished, not that a person or document was verified. An MRZ checksum result checks consistency of characters; it does not prove authenticity.
You remain responsible for reviewing source documents, correcting errors in your own processes and deciding whether the output is suitable. KYCME.APP does not guarantee transcription accuracy, regulatory compliance or freedom from fraud.
Content and intellectual property
KYCME.APP and its licensors own the website, software, visual design, documentation, trademarks, and other service materials, including all related intellectual property rights. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no right or license is granted by implication.
You retain rights in content and information you lawfully submit. You grant KYCME.APP the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, secure, and support that content for the requested service and as described in the Privacy Policy or an applicable agreement.
If you voluntarily provide product feedback, we may use it without restriction or payment, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.
Third-party processing
Current extraction uses the OpenAI API. Document images and instructions are transmitted for that purpose; account messages use external email and phone-message providers. Our Privacy Policy explains current recipients and retention. We will update applicable disclosures and obtain permission where required if processing changes.
Third-party websites have their own terms. We remain responsible for our obligations under applicable law; linking to another provider is not a guarantee of its service.
Privacy and data protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Business customers must execute any data protection terms reasonably required for their use case and may not instruct us to process information unlawfully.
Availability, updates, and service changes
We may maintain, update, improve, replace, or discontinue public website features. We do not guarantee that the public website will always be available or error-free. Availability commitments for paid services apply only when included in a signed agreement.
We may update these Terms to reflect service, security, legal, or operational changes. The revised Terms take effect on the date shown above, subject to any notice required by law or contract. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where legally permitted.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the public website and any evaluation or pre-release features are provided “as is” and “as available.” KYCME.APP disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or responsibility that applicable law does not allow the parties to exclude. Warranties for contracted paid services, if any, are stated in the applicable signed agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KYCME.APP will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss arising from use of the public website, including lost profits, revenue, goodwill, opportunities, or data.
Any liability limit for a contracted service is governed by the applicable signed agreement. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Closing your account and suspension
You may stop using the service and request account deletion, including if you cannot sign in. An email request is not proof that deletion has finished; we verify ownership and confirm the outcome. The deletion page explains affected records, backup retention and exceptions. Uninstalling a future app will not itself delete an account.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users and systems, investigate misuse, comply with law or address a material breach. Suspension is not the same as erasure and does not prevent you from contacting us about your data. Contracted services remain subject to their applicable agreement.
Provisions that by their nature survive termination, including ownership and applicable liability and dispute provisions, continue.
Governing law and disputes
Unless a signed agreement states otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the federal laws of the Republic of Iraq, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
The competent courts located in Erbil will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where mandatory consumer or other law gives a person the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Before filing a claim, each party should make a reasonable effort to resolve the dispute in good faith.
General terms and contact
If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be adjusted only as much as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written permission; we may assign them in connection with a merger, restructuring, or transfer of the relevant business.
